God loves variety

God Is Creative

In the first book of the Bible, we see God’s creativity as a colorful display of animals, plants, geographies, and creatures appear in the first days of Creation. God’s creative nature is also reflected in the beautiful tones, talents, and types of people who make up humankind. Just like the broad spectrum of flower varieties God made for us to enjoy, he has also made a wide variety of people. We come, as God intended, in all kinds of colors, shapes, and sizes. God loves variety. He is creative. And the people who inhabit our world are a reflection of His creativity.

ALL WORSHIPING GOD TOGETHER

We are made in His image

God’s creative ways are embedded in our DNA. We express ourselves through art, music, literature, and science. We explore restaurants with a variety of menu options. We go to movies and indulge in various cultures through film. Yet, if we as human beings, made in God’s image, who love creative expression and variety so much, why do we seem, as a species, to struggle so much with racial and cultural diversity? While we may struggle with bringing, in peace, people who look, think or speak differently from one another, it is something that God desires of us. That is God’s will here on earth, as it is in heaven. In fact, the Book of Revelation tells us that heaven (God’s Kingdom) will be populated by people of every nation, every tribe, every language – all worshipping God together.
